American Bride with her Bridsmaids at Clontarf Castle
Great to photograph a group of stunning Bridesmaids with their gorgeous and very happy Bride. Clontarf Castle was the location for the Wedding Day of an American Bride and Groom that brought their families from America and Italy to Dublin. They choose Clontarf Castle for its romantic location and atmosphere. It’s a beautiful building with plenty of opportunities to photograph a creative Photo Shoot without leaving the venue. The grounds contain some exceptional architectural buildings that make excellent backdrops for couples. Designed by William Vitruvius Morrison back in 1837 with a local history going back to the battle of Clontarf with Brian Boru and the invading Vikings.
The Gate Lodge is an ornamental gatehouse, a stunning piece of romantic design with its own round tower design. Its fronted by a large spread of colourful lavender which compliments the grey cut stone and can be a beautiful location for more romantic photography of a wedding couple.
With extra time the nearby St Annes Park is a great choice for an alternative photography location as well as the Dollymount Wooden Bridge. However the bridge can be awkward for access and parking as it can get very busy with traffic and walkers. If time is limited the grounds of the Hotel are perfect for a Wedding Day photo shoot.
